The Most Powerful Poverty-Destroying Habit

40%, or more, of your daily activities are habits. That means that 40% of the time you are on auto pilot.

Now this is good thing if you have good daily habits but this is a bad thing if you have bad daily habits.

The key then is to forge good habits which, behind the scenes, meaning automatically, produce a happy, successful life.

Now, not all habits are created equal. Some habits are more powerful and impactful than others. These impactful habits are known as Keystone Habits.

Keystone Habits are habits that give birth to other related habits and destroy habits that interfere with these related habits.

The Rich Habits were designed to be good Keystone Habits. They were created to help you to automatically forge other good habits and to get rid of the bad habits that are holding you back in life, creating poverty, unhappiness and a life of misery.

Adding just one Keystone Rich Habit will eliminate numerous Poverty Habits. That is the secret sauce to the success of the Rich Habits. One good Keystone Habit can get rid of numerous bad habits and change your life forever. I have testimony after testimony from thousands of followers who almost daily share their stories of redemption by forging just a handful of Keystone Rich Habits.

Good Keystone Rich Habits have a Ripple Effect on all of your other habits. They not only lead to the creation of other good habits, they also lead to the destruction of existing bad habits, habits which lead to poverty.

One powerful Keystone Rich Habits happens to be the great destroyer of poverty. Oftentimes, completely eviscerating poverty at its very core in just a few years.

The #1 Keystone Rich Habit – Positive Thinking

The most powerful Keystone Habit is Positive Thinking. This is a very important foundational Keystone Habit because your thoughts lead to feelings and your feelings direct your behavior.

If you have the wrong thinking, meaning negative thinking, that wrong thinking will ultimately lead to action (behaviors) that will create a life of misery.

If you are poor, I can guarantee that you have inculcated the destructive Keystone Habit of Negative Thinking. And this Negative Thinking has led to behavior that created your poverty.

If you are rich, I can guarantee that you have inculcated the fortune-building Keystone Habit of Positive Thinking. And that Positive Thinking has led to behavior that created your wealth.

If you adopt the Positive Thinking Rich Habit for 30 days, it will begin to weaken your negative thinking. Because it is a Keystone Habit it will not stop with that one Poverty Habit, however. It will begin to eliminate others that have been linked to your negative thinking and are interfering with your new Positive Thinking Rich Habit. You very likely eat too much, drink too much or gamble too much just because of this one Negative Thinking habit.

In other words, the fount of your constructive behavior is positive thinking and the fount of your destructive behavior is negative thinking.

The best and quickest method to change habitual negative thinking into habitual positive thinking is to give thanks every day for something. Make a habit of giving thanks every time something good happens or when something bad is avoided.

Giving thanks shifts your thinking from what you lack (Envy Thinking) to what you have (Abundance Thinking).

Gratitude is the gateway to a positive mental outlook. Giving thanks is like screaming to the universe, “Give Me More!” When you give thanks every day for some specific thing, you are telling your very powerful subconscious brain that you would like more of the same thing – you are reprogramming your subconscious brain.

The key for gratitude to begin to attract positive things into your life is emotion. Emotion makes it all happen. You need to create a positive emotion and then follow that up immediately by giving thanks.

Here’s how:

Think about a time in your life when something amazing happened or when you were incredibly happy. Hold on to that thought for a few seconds. Remember everything about that happy time. Then give thanks for something good that you have or that happened to you recently; something tangible and real.

After a few weeks of engaging in this Gratitude Exercise, your subconscious will begin working behind the scenes, seeking out opportunities to bring more of what you want into your life.

This isn’t New Age mumbo jumbo. The most powerful part of your brain, your subconscious (Limbic System and Brain Stem), also happens to be the most evolved part of the brain. It’s been around for millions of years longer than the conscious brain (Neocortex).

Neuroscientists today are still trying to understand the inner workings of the subconscious. But know this – it is powerful.

The subconscious alters your behavior. How, depends on its programming – its positive or negative programming.

In time this Gratitude Exercise will begin to change your life.

How long?

In just a few weeks, your new thinking will alter your behavior (the actions you take) and this new behavior will begin to have a constructive, beneficial effect on your life. The more your life improves, the more you will have to give thanks for. And the more you give thanks, the more you reprogram your subconscious to be on the lookout for opportunities to further improve your life.

This one Keystone Rich Habit will have a ripple effect on your life, your behavior and your habits. This is the most important Keystone Rich Habit because without it, no change in your life is possible. Your thinking is either the beginning (Positive Thinking) or the end (Negative Thinking).
