Fortune Favors the Brave

tip-o-the-morning

Success requires that you take well-thought-out risks. There is a world of difference, however, between well-thought-out risks and gambling. Well-thought-out risks require sacrifice, persistence, hard work and focus. Gamblers are looking for the fast track to success. Gamblers seek the easy path to success. They want something for nothing.

The willingness to take well-thought-out risks, with no guarantees of success, takes courage. Courage is the opposite of fear. It is the act of moving forward toward a goal, purpose or life dream knowing you might fail. Successful people, on their journey towards achieving success, are willing to take well-thought-out risks. The risks are usually an enormous amount of time and money.

Those who are unwilling to take well-thought-out risks will never achieve success in life. Fortune favors the brave souls who, despite their fears of failure, march onward toward success.

Schedule Your Success

Success doesn’t happen overnight. Oftentimes, it seems that way because most successful people seem to explode onto the scene. They seem to manifest out of thin air. Avoid Toxic People

tip-o-the-morning

Who you associate with will determine the quality of your life. If you are starting out in your career or changing jobs, choose your boss with care. You want to work for someone who has much to teach you, who is positive, upbeat and enthusiastic. You want to avoid a boss who appears negative, critical, sarcastic or egotistical. You will not thrive in such an environment.

Outside your job, you want to spend most of your time around winners; people who are working hard to improve themselves and who never criticize, condemn or complain. You want to avoid those who find fault in everything and everyone and who seem to be perpetually in turmoil in their lives. They will drag you down and sap you of your positive energy. A good rule of thumb is to spend less than an hour a week with toxic people and more than an hour a week with winners.

When you make it a Rich Habit to associate with the winners in life, you will become a winner yourself.

Make a Blueprint of Your Life

tip-o-the-morning

“If you fail to plan, you plan to fail”. Benjamin Franklin

If you fail to plan your life you are leaving everything to chance. In order to have the ideal life you must script every aspect of your life. You must create a blueprint for every facet of you life if you want to create a life of happiness and success. When you script your ideal life you set in motion forces that will attract into your life the people and circumstances that will help make your ideal life become a reality. Those who fail to plan their ideal life leave their life in the hands of fate and chance.

Never Quit

tip-o-the-morning

There is only one true definition of failure: Failure is when you quit on a goal, major purpose or life dream.
