One Habit ALL Millionaires Learned From Their Non-Millionaire Parents

In my five-year study of the daily habits of the rich and poor, I learned about one common success habit the millionaires in my study ALL learned from their non-millionaire parents – Pursue Big Goals, a Main Purpose or a Dream. When parents teach their children about the importance of pursuing big goals, a main purpose or a dream, they are laying a foundation that will enable their children to become enormously successful in life.

Success is the Light at the End of the Tunnel

Those seeking success in life, those pursuing some big goal or life dream, are on a lonely journey. Early mornings, late nights, obstacles, rejection, doubters, mistakes, failures & frustration are your constant companions. The dark cave of isolation is your environment.

— Until you succeed —

Success makes it all worthwhile. But it takes passion, persistence and belief to make it out of the cave. Never quit, never surrender. Life rewards the persistent. Its rewards are always disproportionate to the effort. The struggle makes you grow. It changes you. You evolve into the person you need to be in order for success to reign down on you. Pursue your passion with a relentlessness that allows you to overcome every individual deficiency you may have. Success is the great equalizer. It is the light at the end of the tunnel.

Reach

tip-o-the-morning

You cannot achieve big goals or your life dream without changing. To get to where you want to go, you have to change into the person you want to be.  You need to reach and keep reaching every day. You need to get out of your comfort zone and challenge yourself. It’s the effort and action you take that makes success possible. Every day take action and move forward.

Baby Step Your Way to Success

tip-o-the-morning

Successful people don’t wait for the elevator, they take the stairs. If you had to climb the stairs of the Empire State Building it would seem overwhelming. But each step, in an of itself, is actually very easy to climb. If you are pursuing some big goal or life dream, don’t focus on how much work it will require and how long it will take. That will do nothing but overwhelm you. Break it down into small, easy to accomplish daily activities. And then each day, day after day, perform those specific activities that will move your toward accomplishing your goal or life dream. Success is not about hitting the home runs, or one momentous achievement; it’s about the unglamorous bunts, walks and singles. Baby stepping your way to success is the only way to achieve great things in life. Show up every day and do the little things and eventually you will realize your big goal or life dream.
